“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” ― St. Catherine of Siena
My name is Holly Engemann.  I have been married to Scott Engemann since 2009.  You may recognize him as the drummer at 10:30 mass. We have been blessed with two sons, Austin and Curtis. They both attend Queen's School. We are originally from the Grand Rapids area and we have been so blessed to have met so many wonderful people who have become great friends in the Jackson area. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family up north and to other areas of Michigan. I also really love taking photographs and you will constantly see a camera in my hand.  I enjoy reading both for personal enjoyment and professional growth. Spending time with my family and friends is also very important to me.

I have been teaching at Queen's since 2010. I have previously taught second grade and now I teach third grade.
I love teaching with so many great people who push me to be the best teacher I can be.  My dream has always been to become a teacher since I was in second grade with Mrs. Kalman many years ago. I truly believe a teacher is what God created me to be. I feel so blessed to be called to help my students get to know God, become better people, and to learn about the world together.  I love making learning fun by using hands on learning methods (Whole Brain Teaching), getting to know my students' interests to incorporate into my lessons, and using different types of technology, including iPads and the SMART board.  I always get excited for the school year to begin and sad when the school year is over.  I find myself constantly striving to stay in touch with current practices that will benefit my students. I love learning!
