2. Where is the national asparagus festival held? 3. How long is the Mackinac Bridge? Our 4th graders did a wonderful job teaching us about people from different states in their Wax Museum this morning. Take a group of preschoolers, add a parachute, and what do you get? 1. What is the state fish?
2. What city was the original capital of Michigan? 3. Who the first female governor of Michigan and what year was she elected? Remember, turn your answers in to the office on Thursday. 1. What day did Michigan become a state?
2. Which Tiger came up one short of hitting 400 home runs in 1974? 3. What is the state fossil? 4. What is the state reptile? To celebrate Michigan week, the Fifth Graders will be asking 3 questions every day.
If a student know the answers, he/she can turn them in to the office and a winner will be chosen from the correct entries. Day 1 Questions 1. How many Great Lakes touch the shores of Michigan and what are their names? 2. When was the Mackinac Bridge opened? 3. Which is the shallowest of the Great Lakes? If you have a birthday in May you may be out of uniform tomorrow (Thursday) to celebrate your special day.
